Product CarePlease wash prior to using.
Wash after each use. Some Simple Instructions 1. Remove solids 2. Remove inserts (no Soaking is required) 3. Wash on hot using 1/2 the amount of detergent you would normally use 4. Rinse well 5. Air or tumble dry on low heat 6. NEVER use bleach, fabric softeners, enzyme cleaners, vinegar or brighteners. This will ruin your nappy/diaper and void all warranties.
Dry Pailing We recommend dry pailing- place your soiled nappy (after removing solids) into your nappy bucket dry. Do not Soak- how easy is that! Stains can be removed after washing with the natural sunlight.
Detergent Please do not use detergents with built in fabric softener or enzymes.
Drying We recommend hanging your nappies/diapers outside in the sun as this will help remove any stains. Tips on Using your One Size Haute Pocket Nappy *Pocket nappies are best when used in conjunction with a good insert. The Haute One Size Pocket nappy comes with the 2 microfibre inserts- we suggest using the small insert for newborns and as your baby gets older add the next size insert or even add other layers of absorbency such as bamboo boosters that you may have.
*Please make sure you have the correct setting for your baby. The Haute Pocket nappy should fit snugly on baby without any gaping at the legs- gaping will mean leaks- so ensure the fit is correct!
*Wash your Haute Pocket nappy with detergents that do not contain enzymes, whiteners, fabric softeners or optical whiteners. Do not use vinegar in the rinse cyle- ocassional is fine but not every wash.
*As with any cloth nappy, plan to change your baby every 2 hours. If this is not possible- you may need to add layers of absorbency to the nappy.
*NEVER use barrier creams. The only barrier cream that you can use with cloth nappies is Magic Stick.
*You may want to dry your Haute Pocket nappies on high heat once in a while (once every 2 weeks). This helps 'reset' the PUL where the needle holes from sewing are.
Note that there are 2 PUL Haute Pockets available. 1. 'Breathables' will allow water vapours (not droplets) to be released when the insert becomes wet. This will allow for better airflow and a more comfortbale bottom for your baby. 2. 'Traditional'- this does not allow water vapours to be released and is more like the traditional PUL used on other pocket nappies in the market.
